Architecture Of the Palace
The Lalgarh Palace, located in Bikaner, is a masterpiece in burnished sandstone. Erected by Maharaja Ganga Singh Ji in the year1902, the grand architectural marvel ropes in a great number of tourists from all across the globe. The palace stands in remembrance of the Maharaja's father, Maharaja Lal Singh Ji.

Museum Bikaner
The Lalgarh Palace also houses a museum that exhibits a fascinating collection of miniature paintings, manuscripts and weaponry. Interestingly enough, a World War I bi-plane is also exhibited in the museum.
Library
The library of the palace is yet another attractive feature here. The library boasts the largest collection of original Sanskrit manuscripts on parchments and metal (copper, gold or silver) plates.

A part of the Lalgarh Palace has now been converted into a heritage hotel that is known for its traditional hospitality and world class amenities. The rooms are large and spacious with a British influence that the hotel permeates.

Bikaner FortThe Jodhpur Airport, lying at a distance of 235 km, is the closest airport from the city of Bikaner. Jodhpur has direct flights from places like Delhi, Mumbai, Jaipur and Udaipur.
